This service provides a Display Energy Certificate (DEC) assessment for community buildings, measuring operational energy performance in shared public-use environments to inform energy management.
Access to the community building is arranged to enable a visual inspection and data collection. Relevant operational and energy consumption records are reviewed to support the assessment.
A visual survey of the building’s energy systems and operational characteristics is conducted. This includes inspection of meters, energy-consuming equipment, and building usage patterns.
Collected data and records are analysed to assess actual energy performance against benchmarks. This stage identifies energy consumption trends and operational factors influencing performance.
A detailed report is prepared summarising findings, energy performance metrics, and any observed limitations. The report forms the basis for the Display Energy Certificate.
The report outlines any constraints encountered during assessment, such as incomplete data or access restrictions. It does not guarantee certification outcome, compliance, or remedial approvals.
